    Sally Haslanger is an American philosopher and professor. She is the Ford Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Linguistics and Philosophy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She held the 2015 Spinoza Chair of Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam.

    Roberta Stewart

    Roberta Stewart is a historian of ancient Rome and broadly trained in Classics. She has written on Roman political history, Latin lexicography, and comparative world slavery. In 2009, she had the idea that there could be individual and community benefit to reading and discussing classical literatures of war with combat veterans. “From Troy to Baghdad: Dialogues on War & Homecoming” has spread from New England to Alaska.

    Christia Mercer

    Christia Mercer is an American philosopher and the Gustave M. Berne Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Columbia University. She is known for her work on the history of early modern philosophy, the history of Platonism, and the history of gender.

Project Nota

Project Nota is a group dedicated to drawing attention to the Latin letters and works of famous women by focusing on the digitization of texts, translating these texts into English, Spanish, and French, and increasing their overall accessibility. Among us we have over 150 years of Latin experience including many years of teaching experience, seven advanced degrees, many publications in academic journals, and multiple positions in professional organizations.
